You live in an apartment in the middle of DC when you live at Anthology. If you need to go somewhere, there are so, so many ways to get there. Check out your options below, or visit goDCgo.com or CommuterConnections.com for more info.

  • Metro

WMATA gets you nearly anywhere in DC. Union Station is just down the street, a hub for all types of transport, and you can catch a Red Line Metro train, too. Apart from that, there are buses that wind through every little nook and cranny of the city.

  • Bike

Whether or not you have your own, there’s always a chance to get out on two wheels. Capital Bikeshare has plenty of locations around for you to borrow a bike to zip across town or just down the street. One word of warning about biking on H St.: watch out for the streetcar tracks.

  • Streetcar

Finally! The famed DC Streetcar – it’s been a long time coming, but now that it’s here, it’ll make bumping up and down H St. that much easier. Just hop on and go.

  • Train

Not the Metro train, mind you, think Amtrak, New York, Philadelphia, Boston… If you don’t feel like flying, this is the place that will get you to where you want to go on the heavy rail.

  • Cab

Because H Street has a lot going on in the evenings, it’s usually not a problem to catch a real DC cab if you want but short of that, there’s always a bunch of Uber and Lyft drivers about to take you directly where you need to go.

  • Car

Got car, will travel. Drive yourself where you want to go. We have private garage parking and there’s convenient access to Zipcars® all around DC, so what’s stopping you from bumping around town or even taking a road trip? The answer: nothing.

  • Walk

Your feet. Unlike many locales, you’re right in the middle of so many things that you can simply walk to in a few minutes. Take advantage.
